Happy to share that this project is finally out! We (w/ Jan Mathijs Schoffelen, Peter Hagoort and Linda Drijvers) investigated attention and audiovisual integration during multimodal communication, using rapid invisible frequency tagging (RIFT) and MEG Communicative Brain lab

Thrilled to finally share this work! We used MEG & Rapid Invisible Frequency Tagging (RIFT) in visual search & show (1) V1/V2 behaves like a priority map and (2) alpha oscillations impose a *blanket inhibition* on all visual inputs. The Centre for Human Brain Health 🧡

The first project of my PhD is out! πŸ₯³ In the midst of the pandemic, we set out to investigate whether delta- and theta-band responses to individual words were affected by being placed in sentence context. πŸ’¬1/9🧡
