Maui: COFA citizens have two weeks left to apply for @FEMA assistance. If your property was damaged by the #MauiFires , get your applications in by May 31! You can apply by calling 808-784-1952 or visiting the Lahaina Disaster Recovery Center.

Today's National Forecast Chart shows stormy weather is forecast to continue across much of the central U.S. into tonight between the southern Plains to the Great Lakes. Be sure to remain weather aware and have numerous ways to receive flash flood and other severe weather alerts.

An outbreak of severe thunderstorms, including the potential for strong tornadoes, is expected mainly this afternoon to early evening. The greatest threat is over Iowa and parts of northwest Illinois, northern Missouri, southeast Minnesota, and southwest Wisconsin.
