We've been lucky with the weather, but our Tuesday event this week was a bit wet. That didn't stop our new chef from cooking and serving up hot meals of both salmon and meatballs. Everyone, please meet Libby, our newest employee (3rd from left), and thank you to our volunteers!

Tuesday's event today was blessed with warmth, both solar and human, for Feet Forward's meal in the park. Thank you to all our volunteers and to our unhoused community of Boulder for making it a great day.

Second Baptist Church (SBC) will distribute some clothing at the Bandshell Thur. morning, but is pleased to share they will have a shuttle to take people to and from SBC where more clothing and gear are expected to be available. Thank you SBC!

Once a year, the community gathers to honor those who passed away in the past year after or while they experienced homelessness. This year, the memorial will be held the same day as Feet Forward's event in the park in which we serve a hot meal and provide resources.

We are thrilled to announce that Leanne Wheeler, whose experience includes being on the boards of MDHI and CCH, helping to stand up Fort Lyon, and her own lived experience with homelessnes, has agreed to be our interim executive director. More info soon!

Join Feet Forward for our weekly Tuesday event providing food and resources to our unhoused neighbors around 2:15, followed by the Homeless Memorial at the Bandshell at 3:30.

Critical Weather operations alert from Boulder Shelter: "Critical Weather protocols in place at BSH overnight tonight – we will increase capacity from 160 to 180 residents and CE requirements will be waived. Intake will still occur between 5-7pm as normal."
