As a side project I have been playing around with my old research topics, namely qubits coupled to waveguides. In our latest published article we include the quantum motion of the qubit into these systems, finding lots of interesting results. Check it out!

Check out our latest arXiv where we explore the weird magnetizatiom dynamics of a metallic nanoparticle. This is one of the many fascinating "quantum size effects" where the rules of quantum mechanics become shockingly evident due to the tight confinement of the electrons.
