Hoy he hablado ante United Nations Human Rights Council, abriendo mi última sesión como Alta Comisionada. No me presentaré a un segundo mandato por razones personales. Es hora de volver a Chile y a mi familia. Pido a los Estados que trabajen juntos para solucionar desafíos en materia de derechos humanos.

Today, I briefed United Nations Human Rights Council, opening my last session as High Commissioner. I will not be seeking a second term for personal reasons. It is time to go back to Chile & be with family. I urge States to identify common ground to achieve solutions to our shared human rights challenges.
