He was on the bridge. Staring at the vastness of the infinite universe, the world seeming to be just a speck of sand in an endless desert, the cosmos itself spanning from the farthest reaches of time and space.

Vader stood, statue-still and brooding, his cloak flowing in the wind like a storm across the sky, the very air around him seeming to hold its breath, waiting with baited breath.

Vader was in his chambers, his helmet off, revealing his scarred head. He reached for the holopad. The hologram flickered into existence, revealing an old message. One from Padme.

His eyes burned with a pale red and orange flame, his face a mask of calm, unpredatory malice. The rage built up inside him, the stress and anger driving him towards a bloodthirsty frenzy.
