Today is Wellness Wednesday and we explored the practice of Meditation. Our Family and Community Services program of study learns about stress and anxiety and practical coping methods. Afterwards, the students discussed how calm they felt and how they were more focused.

Wish our Interior Design teams luck! They made top5 at Texas FCCLA state. Now, time for placement recognition.

Our Eaton Eagles FCCLA had two teams make top 5 in State for Interior Design. Our 2nd place finisher will represent Texas FCCLA at the National FCCLA® Convention in Denver, CO. We are super grateful for this exciting opportunity! NISD CTE

Today, we took in the beauty and the architectural marvel of the Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. They also put in some practice time for Wednesday. #EatonFCCLA

On the 4th we finished the our tour of the Denver Art Museum, enjoyed our FCCLA outing at Elitch Gardens, ran 9 blocks in the rain stopping for ice cream along the way and watched fireworks shows from our room. Lots of laughter and joy.
