It took 3 days but JV was able to beat Greenwood twice, in a couple of well played games. 1st game 3-2, 2nd game 8-5. JV now sits at 7-5 on the year.

Cubs advance to the sectional final on Monday by defeating East Central 10-0. Blake Smythe threw a no hitter and also homered. 5IP, 0R, 0H, 7K, L. Basey 3-3 with a HR and 2B Bland, Bullington, and Launonen also had multi hit games.

All Franklin Faithful mark your calendars now, we play @ Shelbyville on Monday @ 6p. It’s a short trip down 44 to support the Cubs for the Sectional championship. Would Love to Double up our opponents in the stands.
