Bumblebee Conservation Trust I’ve found a bumblebee nest in my lawn which is really nice to see. It survived the mower before I realised it was there. To make sure it doesn’t get mown or accidentally stood on by my 9yr old it’s marked with a red flag 🚩. #MakeSpaceForNature


Tomorrow is the launch of the “Big Butterfly Count 2023” this is a UK wide survey to assess the health of the UK’s environment of Butterflies & day flying Moths. I managed to read the ring on this Tufted Duck on 10/7/23 Grafham Water. Thanks to info from BTO I now know it was ringed 500 days ago at Blunham in Beds (15 miles away) Cambs Bird Club The Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs & Northants WWT
