Another great episode of The Island of Brilliant, out today! Hard agree with Frank Cottrell-Boyce that Martin Jarvis’s readings of Just William are possibly the funniest audiobooks ever. So glad you recommended the audiobook of Framed too - it’s genius, and adored by my whole family.

Agree. Libraries made me a writer. They gave me access to books I could not afford. They give people access to warm spaces and are the last social space where you are not expected to spend anything. They are vital. Protect them!
