The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-2 tornado near Atlantic, IA that was on the ground for 26 miles! The tornado touched down just southwest of Atlantic, lifting north of Exira. Winds reached 115 to 120mph. The tornado lasted 18 minutes, meaning it was moving 86mph!

What’s going on in eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa is not good. It’s even worse in Central and Western Nebraska lack of moisture is causing hard ground and poor emergence randomly
