“Teacher growth is closely related to pupil growth. Probably nothing within a school has more impact on students in terms of skills development, self-confidence, or classroom behavior than the personal & professional growth of their teachers.” Roland Barth buff.ly/2p2BhBB

Grade 1/2 Heffernan were stretching their math brains to create number patterns for partners to find what was missing. Much deeper thinking and engagement happens when students create the number patterns instead of filling in something pre-made. Falmouth District School @AVRCEprograms

AVRCE schools will be returning to in-person learning on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. To allow staff time to prepare, there will be no school (or at-home learning) for students on May 31st and June 1st. We look forward to welcoming students back to their classrooms on Wednesday!
