Quantitative face fit testing for the next few days. Remember, clean-shaven applies to every time the mask is worn, not just the test!

Onsite in Birmingham to Face Fit, 25% of those to be tested are unshaven. Remember, not for our benefit, to ensure your mask can adequately seal to the skin and do its job. Well done Equans UK & Ireland, reminders in the toilets and canteen.

Silicosis is an interstitial lung disease caused by breathing in particles of crystalline silica. Over time, exposure to crystalline silica particles can cause permanent lung scarring, called pulmonary fibrosis. There are three types of silicosis; chronic, accelerated and acute.
