I want to give a big shout out to this amazing group of young men Omaha Bryan Boys Soccer that came on a Thursday night to help engage families in Forest Station’s Forest Station Elementary first ever STEAM NIGHT! Thank you!!

Students made predictions for the World Cup final before Winter Break. I had one student who guessed the score correctly! AND GUESSED THE PENALTY SHOOT OUT CORRECTLY! 🤯🤯

Just finished my last meeting with LAUNCH! Thankful for the opportunity of being part of the 2022-2023 cohort! I got to learn about the different systems that are in place for the Omaha Public School District and shadowed various educational leaders from the district!

Student of the day in my 5th grade class! Each day a student brings things from home that represent who they are! A poster is passed around and each classmate writes a special memory or something they enjoyed about the student! We take a picture to highlight their 5th grade year

At Forest Station Elementary, our transition day focused on giving fifth graders different schedules and practice what passing periods in Middle School would look like with their own schedule!

I asked students to write down something that would motivate them to finish the Lexia Core 5 program before the end of the school year. They picked snacks! 12 out of my 16 students were able to finish the program! The taste of victory! 💪🏼🥹

Fourth year in education: •Received my master’s in Educational Leadership. •2023-2024 school year, I will be the Dean of Students at Bluestem Middle School (OPS Brand new Middle School). Can’t wait for this new journey!
