Man Mound, the only surviving prehistoric humanoid earthwork in North America. It was made ~1,000 years ago during the late Woodland Period in what is now known as Wisconsin! Unfortunately a road was constructed right through the middle of it in the late 1800's.

Researching historically important plants native to California at La Purísima Mission in Lompoc. Hoping to get some growing on campus with my students this fall!
