The past generations have thought us to survive against all odds and that's why we do not have the ability to hold our leaders accountable. So many things are going wrong but we're surviving. We need to hold duty-bearers accountable, these people made promises and took oaths.

Oaths to give is a better Nigeria free of insecurity, free of unemployment and under-employment. A Nigeria with equity, good health care standard education, good access roads. Yet daily we face challenges due to the negligence of our leaders. We need to start living.

Poor funding of basic education in Nigeria is the reason why we are here today, leaders of tomorrow turned terrorist, kidnappers, ritualists because they did/do not have access to basic education. The right of every child has become a luxury to many children #FundBasicEducation

In February of 2020, the Government of Nigeria selected 6 northern states to pilot the Open School Program (OSP). OSP was launched in 2019 by the government through @UBECnigeria and Commonwealth for learning to reduce the number of out of school children. #FundBasicEducation

When the OSP program was launched and piloted, Nigeria had about 10million out of school children, almost 4 years down the line, the number of out of school children has sky rocketed to about 20million. Did the program fail? Government of Nigeria, What happened to OSP #FundBasicEducation.
