This Thursday, Oct. 7, is Bring Your Bible To School Day!

Matt 4:18-19 18 And Jesus walking by the Sea of Galilee saw two brethren, Simon called Peter and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Self reflection-yesterday we talked about Simon Peter and Andrew being called to be fisher of men. Could you leave your worldly possessions to take up your cross and follow Jesus?

The Old Testament book of Leviticus is a collection of laws. Combined between commands which can be positive…Thou shalt…or thou shalt not… and 2nd type of law, casuistic law-what to do if such and such happened.

Homosexuality is strictly prohibited in the Bible. Don’t believe me? Check for yourself Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:27 & 1 Cor. 6:9. Still not sure? See what happened to the Sodomites in Gen 19:5. Not enough? Men of Gibeah Jusges 19:22.

Often times we focus on a problem in our life even though we have direct access to the problem solver. All we have to do is believe in him, trust in him, love him and keep our eyes fixed upon him even when the wind becomes boisterous. #amen #Jesuslovesyou #jesus

So many times we focus on our problems, but we fail to realize we have a problem solver. And all we have to do is to believe in him, love him, never doubt him and don’t take your eyes off of him. Even when the wind gets boisterous

“And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Rev. 22:18–19.)

As Christians we sometimes get caught up in what’s going on in the world. For instance “ Let’s go Brandon” a derogatory statement towards president Biden. Whether we like him or not we are told to pray for our leaders. 1 Timothy 2: 1-4 KJV verse 2 in particular.

If you don’t have Jesus you don’t have anything!
