This Edna, the African Grey Parrot! She came in to see us because she was eggbound. Egg-binding is when, for some reason, an egg is unable to be laid naturally. With a little bit of help, she has now passed all of the egg and is recovering well. #SUFFOLKEXOTICVETS #avianvet

Eating more healthily is one of the most common resolutions we make for ourselves after the festive period. We can do the same for our bunnies. A healthy rabbit diet should consist of 85% hay or grass, 10% greens, and 5% nuggets or pellets. Find out more: bit.ly/3rCwTVx

We have been waiting months for these lovely cages and they were finally delivered and installed yesterday. They are perfect for all of our rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents and other mammals 😍inbuilt adjustable heating so that we can keep our patients at the perfect temperature!

This week Nick the hedgehog had a 'close shave' after being caught with a garden strimmer, whilst in hibernation. Other than an unexpected haircut, he is in good health. We've given him some topical treatment to prevent any potential infection from occurring. #rescuehedgehog
