It's #ADOS history month. I am proud to be #ADOS. I happily #ClaimTheName with reverence for my people and their continued struggle and pride for all that we have accomplished and contributed to this country and the world.

Now is a great time in our political discourse to engage in critical, objective analysis of all of the movements that purport to benefit black ppl. Organizations that have never produced measurable results for the collective are no longer necessary. We need collective uplift now.

I turned 40 today. As a black man in America from the south side of Chicago I've got no criminal record, I'm a veteran, a college graduate and working towards a Masters degree. It's a miracle and I'm grateful to be here.

The Dems don't care about Blk ppl but voting Rep was never the move. It's always been down ballot voting. Thanks to the #ADOS movement for providing a realistic option to stay politically engaged but not remain hostages of the Democratic party. Voting is an exchange!

Governments have a responsibility to their citizens to help protect/provide for their overall welfare.Destroying government agencies that protect citizens from harm, places citizens in harm's way,and lives are lost. Small government doesn't mean effective government.

Here's a hot take some ain't gone like. Martin was never a good show. It was petty, vindictive, and chaotic and that's why we laughed and enjoyed it. Once we matured there was little reason to revisit it except for specific examples of bad behavior and reminisce.

Follow the money & reduced regulations & you'll see reduced safety,reduced quality, increased mortality,& increased instances of preventable catastrophe.We've never needed smaller government.That was a lie rich people spread so they could get away with murder & get rich doing it.

No matter how you want to frame it, nothing about black history month is not connected or related to any other country but the United States and our history.

One thing needs to be made very clear.The blues didn't come from the "motherland."It came from a unique people who were birthed here from a unique experience here that was unlike any other. Our ancestors had their connection to Africa intentionally and irreparably severed. #ADOS

What lie was told? "Racism makes people incompetent." This is why we need to teach the full spectrum of American history, not just the parts that make certain groups feel warm, fuzzy, and safe.
