Riot have almost ignored the fact League & Valorant, whilst albeit easier incarnates of Dota & CS - are still high skill ceiling. Then said "We need to make 2XKO easy and accessible". Think about that. If you dumbed down LoL relative to 2XKO, it would lose most of it's base.

I grew up with the growth of competitive gaming, on the strength of the depth and skill-cap of Counter-Strike. "Esports" is where it is today, because of that appetite for a highly rewarding / challenging competitive play. Fighting Games are the exact same. Stop gutting them.
