Each tried to mark his/her mark in a short time, so numerous (bad or unnecessary) policy changes. An appalling record of education being treated badly.

The general narrative around the annual release of results leaves much to be desired and too often undermines the achievement of young people and their schools/colleges. Comparative data do have a place, but need to be contextualised and understood - and not in the headlines.

⚽ On Tues this week our Girls Y7 & Y8/9 combined teams went to Ivanhoe School to play football. Despite the cold & challenging conditions, the Y7 team won 12-4 & in a closer game the 8/9 team were defeated 2-1. It was fantastic to see the girls developing on the football pitch
