This morning we walked out to protest gun violence. This afternoon, our school is on lockdown due to an active shooter on Northwestern’s campus. Governor Rauner Jan Schakowsky Senator Dick Durbin Tammy Duckworth We demand action NOW.

The shooting ended up being a hoax. But that doesn’t change how scary it was to not know what was happening and think we might be in danger. This shows that the culture surrounding guns in our country is a massive problem. Things need to change. x.com/evnstnspeaksup…
