Celebrating 12 outstanding 🇺🇬 students-8 women & 4 men, winners of the 2025 Erasmus+ joint masters scholarships. Funded by the EU 🇪🇺 & in collaboration with Ministry of Education and Sports - Uganda, these scholars will pursue advanced degrees in top universities across 15 European countries. 🇪🇺🫶🇺🇬



This morning I was thrilled to be part of the Quarterly Dialogue meeting between the Ministry of Internal Affairs Uganda & CSO leaders chaired by Maj.Gen Kahinda Otafiire. The meeting focused on the role of civil society in the upcoming elections in Uganda.

In partnership with Advance Afrika, we are training youth leadership structures and community-based organizations under the “Now Us for Youth-Inclusive Policies & Economic Empowerment in West Nile” project in Pakwach.

Moses Byakagaba Dolly Ajok The training was officially opened by the DCDO, Bernadette Awor who reminded the youth that they are not just leaders of tomorrow, but active changemakers today. She emphasized the importance of discipline, active participation, personal development, and economic empowerment.


Moses Byakagaba Dolly Ajok Patrick Olwor kicked off the training with a session on Understanding Policy & Governance. He broke down Uganda’s governance structure, spotlighting the roles of ministries, National Youth Council Uganda , traditional & religious institutions, NGOs, local govts & how young people can participate







This partnership between Denmark in Uganda and Faraja Africa Foundation is also supported by Embassy of Sweden in Kampala Embassy of the Netherlands in Uganda Ireland in Uganda and co-implemented by Advance Afrika and Open Space Centre #YouthInclusiveGovernanceUg #Youth4InclusionUg


Dolly Ajok, our Head of Programs, emphasized that the project aims to empower youth to actively shape policy and governance. “We’re here to unlock potential and ensure young people take their rightful place at the table,” she said. #YouthInclusiveGovernanceUg #Youth4InclusionUg


Emmanuel Wabwire, Team Leader Faraja Africa Foundation gave a powerful introduction, sharing the vision behind the project and the strength of our partnership with Advance Afrika and Open Space Centre . He underscored that this initiative is rooted in collaboration and youth-centered advocacy.
