Wow! So excited to be back with the Europe for Citizens gang this afternoon for the programme's closing event organised by The Wheel . I'll be sharing some key points on Erasmus+ Ireland and EuropeanSolidarity but most of all this is a celebration of YOUR impactful projects.

Special guest Thomas Byrne opens the celebration of #EuropeForCitizens emphasizing the importance of reflecting on lessons learned saying, "Civil society in Ireland has a lot to be proud of" and congratulated all the organisations involved for their valuable contributions

Michael Collins from IIEA talks about the positive impact of the #EuropeForCitizens programme and #EUFunding on their work saying,"It enhanced our ability to extend our activities and our reach."

Mary Moynihan from Smashing Times shares her experience being involved in #EuropeanRemembrance #EuropeForCitizens projects and how valuable it is to enable the diversity of experiences through historical memory.

Great to hear Edwina Dewart and Franzi O'Donnell from DublinCity Volunteer share important lessons learned from their Get Connected #EuropeForCitizens Civil Society project: "Ideas have consequences and they lead to actions."

"We have met many friends throughout Europe - without the programme we would have not be able to." Twilight Community Group's Martin Brennan on the brilliant work they've accomplished through #EuropeForCitizen's Network of Town strand.

"#EuropeForCitizens is a great antidote to Euroscepticism - we're all unabashed Europhiles!" Inniscarra Twinning Association's Eileen and Ed Riordan close out today's success stories on a lovely note sharing all the fun they had through their Town Twinning projects.

Although #EuropeForCitizens has come to an end, there are still many other #EUFunding opportunities for the nonprofit community. Deirdre Finlay from Léargas gives us a preview of what's next for the Erasmus+ programme, another fantastic pathway to starting an EU journey!
