HSR writers are so focused on sounding smart rather than actually being smart because a complicated story isn’t automatically “deep” and their desire to hype moments and aura farm actually kills those moments cause they don’t want to give them the significance they deserve

I find the Fiyero and Elphaba relationship so unconditional because he’s the only one who never reacts to her being green when they first meet, he just sees her. It’s the quiet beginning of a love built on recognition and he’s grateful for her magic saving him in the end.
