Undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students from Southern University and University of Iowa Public Health will be able to work collaboratively on Project PEER (Prevent, Engage, Empower, Respond), a SAMHSA funded, community-engaged HIV and substance use prevention intervention.

Via a harm reduction lens, University of Iowa Public Health CBH students developed messaging targeted & tailored for 18-25 years olds celebrating Mardi Gras over the next few days. Already shared to 500+ users on a social media platform in less than 12 hrs, the message has been embraced Project PEER (Prevent, Engage, Empower, Respond)

Today Ebonee Johnson, Ph.D. University of Iowa Public Health CBH students and Southern University Project PEER (Prevent, Engage, Empower, Respond) staff worked collaboratively to finalize planning for the final testing event of the spring semester. The flyer design process was lively :)💙💛🖤👇🏾
