Today I met one of my ecology idols, Prof. Sandra Díaz! It was so interesting to hear her talk and chat with the her about her work. Díaz has been at the forefront of functional trait ecology for years and was at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh to receive the #RBGEmedal. @RBGE_Science

Excited to head to Lisbon today to attend @Tropical Ecology ‘s European Tropical Ecology Conference. I will be presenting my work on functional trait-environment relationships in the Malagasy grassy flora Thursday at 15.00 in Room C 🌾🌾🌾
