Nurses week is always a great time to pause and reflect on what this profession means to me. I knew there was always something contagious about my Grandma’s personality, and it was how she served others. I have been blessed that nursing is my calling. #OBnurse #APRN

Just finished teaching fetal monitoring... discussing the importance of maternal assessment including vital signs.. not one was aware of our #maternalmortality crisis. One nurse was a traveler that worked in 16 states. #increaseawareness

PSA: the respiratory rate is not always measured in an even number. Hard to believe a patient’s RR is 16, 18, or 20 for a 3 week inpatient stay. #takearespiratoryrate #nursing101
