Jens Steve Hams Vivien Mortimore @PaedsGRH @BevJones76 an inspiring morning spent with amazing children from Churchdown Village Junior School. A fantastic opportunity to understand what children want from our services #15steps #involvement #improvement #J2O
Reports back from my son what a great visit they had! Great idea to get community the opportunity for understanding the workings of their hospitals from an early age. Westward Juliette Sherrington Catherine Hopkins Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
So frustrating and disappointing to see too many of our Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust patients at the end of their hospital stay with us not having had the conversations until our Drs do - at point of discharge!! [insert emoji for pulling your hair out here]
Some incredible people with incredible stories - including Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust very own Coral Boston, who I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing and hearing about her life and career as a nurse #BlackHistoryMonth planetradio.co.uk/greatest-hits/…
Thank you so much for your fantastic message Mr Motivator MBE and celebrating Gloucestershire AHPs with us Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on #AHPsDayGlos #AHPsDay2020 Gloshospitals Nutrition and Dietetics so appreciated by our AHPs
1/11 - During COVID Gloucestershire Hospitals Therapy Service staff changed to working a 2 shift pattern rota covering 12 hrs a day, also changing to a full 7 day service. Split into teams to cover all red and green PODS, often working outside their normal specialty areas as part of the PODS care team.
2/11 - When many systems moved therapy into the community, Gloucestershire Hospitals Therapy Service stayed to cover all PODs, helping treat and prevent deconditioning, #endpjparalysis was more important than ever to maintain flow and reduce our bed base to support social distancing and isolation of pts.
5/11 - Gloucestershire Hospitals Therapy Service developed the Trust D/C plans and action cards to implementate the national COVID patient flow and discharge guidelines. Including the introduction of a D2A home settling in up to 48hrs service to enable earlier discharges with less need for onward care.
6/11 - Gloucestershire Hospitals Therapy Service set up and managed the expansion of acute trust beds into local private hospitals. Patient identification, care and the flow all managed, whilst supporting our independent partners care for what was a new patient group to them.
anniecooper It’s not you. As physios we hate being given this status to mobilise people. We want to use our skills to treat & rehabilitate those who are not at normal level. Seeing everyone for their mobility reduces our impact. So frustrating.
