The pop #Packers fans gave when Mark Murphy said, "For the first time since 2002," is one of the coolest moments I’ve seen at an NFL Draft. Even a week later, I can’t get over it. The “Go Pack Go” chant afterward is incredible too.

The best off field moment in Packers history and I don’t think anything will ever top it. I’m not saying there aren’t moments that are more important, but no off field moment is as cool as this. How could it be? The delivery, the crowd, the aura of Golden, it’s just all perfect.

The Packers chose 1923 as their new alternate/throwback jersey because that was the first year they became a publicly owned team. Team historian Cliff Christl said it could be argued that was the most important year because selling stock saved the team.
