Bioinformatics can be fun, but with multiple steps and dependencies, things can get complex fast. And then the despair. How did I generate this intermediate file? What parameters did I use to run this script? Anxiety The solution: A workflow manager A 🧵 on how to get started

Ever wondered how a QR code works? No, me neither but it's low-key fascinating. (Warning, there is some extremely nerdy shit here.👇 )

The {shinyuieditor} has some new features! The main changes are the addition of both {plotly} output and {DT} tables! These were the two most frequently requested functions, so it's great to get them out there and enable the editor to handle a broader range of apps! #RStats (1/3)

What scares you as a bioinformatician?🎃 I will start: 1. Table in PDF 2. Data in excel with inconsistent colum names 3. I have done the experiment, here is the data. 4. It should only take you a day to get the figure for me. Reply with yours 👻

I was playing around with #RStats `tidyselect::any_of()` and realized that it lets us not only select variables which might or might not exist in the data, `any_of()` allows us also to rename the variables on the fly by using a named vector 😎

After a long holiday break, a new release of {ShinyUiEditor}! The main features of this release include a new #vscode extension and some handy keyboard shortcuts. We are excited to bring the UI editor to more places and to make interacting with it more natural.
