I am very excited to give one of the plenary addresses MSEAS in a few weeks. I’ll talk about the important role of co-production and participatory approaches in small-scale fisheries.

It was an incredible honor (and quite emotional) to deliver a plenary MSEAS. I illustrated the need for us to think of fishing communities as knowledge holders, knowledge brokers, and solution architects.

NEW paper! We explored loss aversion to monetary and non-monetary assets in Jamaican fishers. Spoiler alert, fishers did not experience greater loss aversion to monetary assets. This suggests the need for policies to consider more than $ when making decisions.
