This is the first time I can remember Iowa State winning a game that I had already mentally written off as a loss during the game.

The irony of this is that we have already seen what happened when the current 4th-highest-ranked Big Ten team (Michigan) went up against an elite team (Texas).

Without this play, and with all other results remaining the same, Baylor would be facing Arizona State for the conference championship. Thank you Colorado.

The chances of a rebound and putback off of a missed free throw are higher than making a 55-footer so I don’t mind not fouling. If they were to do it over again I’m guessing they would either miss the 2nd FT or force Love to his left hand so he can’t run cleanly into his shot.

This is great. I was just thinking the other day about teams I would most want a home and home with, and Purdue was right at the top of the list.

Have seen this talked about in a few places so went back and looked. I won’t stop anyone from complaining about free throws (everyone does when there is a disparity in FT attempts), but they got this specific call right.

I'm pretty sure I just watched Michigan score on literally every single possession from the 15:00 minute mark to 1:13 left in the game. Not an exaggeration.

Not sure if Heise would’ve been able to get the shot off before the closeout if not for the perfect pass from Jefferson.
