Fave books: So tough! Prob tie between TGH, ToM, AMoL. Least fave: Crossroads. Only read it once, when it came out. Fave character: Brandon’s Perrin. Least fave character: Surprisingly, probably Lanfear. 😂 Fave scenes: End of TGH, green dress, all Perrin/Galad scenes in ToM.

Reading student responses to Denis Villeneuve’s “Arrival” … and I continue to think it’s one of the best SF films ever made. Beautiful and brilliant. Poignant and powerful. Goddamn I just want to shake Denis’ hand for giving the world such a gift.
