In an interview with WMUR, Education Commissioner Frank Edelblut claimed the EFA program would result in *savings* to taxpayers. Instead, EFA's have already cost New Hampshire $23 million, with Edelblut requesting $60 million for the next two years. #NHPolitics

“We are currently paying a private, out-of-state company millions of dollars a year - 10% of all funds allocated for vouchers - to administer a program that our DOE could administer with more transparency, more oversight, and at a much lower cost to taxpayers." #NHPolitics

Last week, House Democrats passed HB 430 to re-focus the ill-conceived EFA voucher program. What does HB 430 do? Who does it affect? How does it benefit New Hampshire taxpayers? ⬇️See details below⬇️ #NHPolitics

Instead of bragging about NH residents risking their safety to vote in snowstorms, the New Hampshire Secretary of State should publicize that under NH law a person may vote absentee the day before the election if the National Weather Service predicts a snowstorm for Election Day. #NHPolitics

Thank you Marianne Williamson for stopping in Laconia! Great conversation about the priorities and future of the Democratic Party, and how we can prioritize the working class and the younger generations. If anyone has a chance to see her as she makes her way around NH, I recommend it.

So disapointing. Prioritizing corporate greed over climate action, and economics over the environment is not only short sighted, it's downright tone deaf. It's time for us to take a stand over climate change. We need leadership, action, and corporate accountability!
