🕳️ REPORT A POTHOLE 🕳️ The quickest and most efficient way to report a pothole is to submit a service request for road maintenance at macombgov.org/departments/de…. Select “road maintenance” and include as much information regarding the pothole location and cross streets.

Patching potholes during the winter months is similar to applying a bandage. It doesn’t repair the damage. Cold patch will fill potholes so tires don’t plunge into them. It's a temporary fix until weather allows for more long-term maintenance solutions or rehabilitation work.

With the sun shining and more mild temperatures today, Macomb County Department of Roads trucks and graders continue cleanup work on rural and subdivision roads throughout Macomb County. Please drive carefully and give equipment plenty of room to safely operate.

Effective Monday, February 23, 2026 at 6 a.m., weight restrictions will be enforced on all asphalt and gravel roads in Macomb County. For additional information, please contact the weight restriction hotline at 586-463-9931.

Maintenance crews were called in late last night to address road conditions and remain on the roads this morning. Watch out for slick spots on bridges, ramps and overpasses. Pavement patching remains a priority while graders are performing maintenance on unpaved rural roads.

🚧 LANE CLOSURE 🚧 Westbound 27 Mile Road between Kittle Road and Jewell Road in Washington Township is anticipated to be closed March 30-31 for roadside ditching. Flagging operations will be in place to control traffic. Work is part of Macomb County Department of Roads Roadside Ditching Program.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE 🚧 Weber Road between Wahl Road and Deland Road in Richmond Township is anticipated to be closed until approximately 3 p.m. today for cross culvert replacement work.

🚧 PROJECT UPDATE 🚧 Reconstruction work on Powell Road between 30-1/2 Mile Road and 32 Mile Road in Washington Township is anticipated to resume April 6 and is estimated to be completed in July. Powell Road will be closed to through traffic from 30 Mile Road to 32 Mile Road.
