For the safety of the motoring public and to ensure we have an adequate supply each winter, Macomb County Department of Roads orders salt multiples times per year. While Michigan’s weather can be unpredictable, we have enough salt on hand should Mother Nature throw any curveballs before spring.
To help residents and townships, Macomb County Department of Roads has programs in place for the preservation and reconstruction of subdivision roads. We work closely with every township in Macomb County to identify roads that may be eligible for the subdivision programs. Learn more about Macomb

🚧 LANE CLOSURE 🚧 Westbound 27 Mile Road between Kittle Road and Jewell Road in Washington Township is anticipated to be closed March 30-31 for roadside ditching. Flagging operations will be in place to control traffic. Work is part of Macomb County Department of Roads Roadside Ditching Program.
