Are you even an ER nurse if you don’t wear ridiculous crocs to work??

Everyone wants me to be there for them when I’m not even there for myself right now.

I love being an ER nurse, but it’s getting harder after more & more shifts lately like where in one room, I was providing end-of-life care to a patient and family — while in my other room, I was a called a “piece of shit motherfucker” because I didn’t bring ice chips fast enough.

we had a hallway patient boarding for hours and while taking vitals, nurse noted he was getting more drowsy and his sleep apnea caused him to desat to 58% (note: pt was very obese in a tiny stretcher) moved him to a room so we could have him on nasal cannula

I’ve got the absolute man of my dreams.

You’ll never catch me using a blow dryer. Instead, I will 100% be blasting the heat in my car in attempt to dry it in 10 minutes on the way to work 😂
