Did you know the current Beta flag was adopted in 1902? It has three horizontal stripes of blue, white and blue, and three white, five-pointed stars forming an equilateral triangle about a red, left-facing dragon. 🐉

[Alumni News] After completing his Fulbright Scholarship teaching English to high school students in South Korea, past Student Body President Patrick Cho, Centre ’13, was recently sworn in as a foreign service officer by the U.S. State Department. Congratulations, brother!

Today, February 4, marks three years since the tragic death of Penn State new member Tim Piazza '20 - one of the darkest hours in the history of Beta Theta Pi. May Tim and his family be in the hearts and minds of all Betas as we continue to honor his memory.

[Continual Growth] For the third consecutive year, the Epsilon Chapter has recruited the largest pledge class of any fraternity on Centre's campus. Once the 22 men are initiated, the chapter be 75 members, meaning approximately 10% of the male student body will be Betas. #gobeta

During the 1878 yellow fever epidemic, John Young Craft, Centre 1878, succumbed to the virus yet laws forbid burial. Since his family could not travel from Mississippi, Craft’s brothers organized a midnight funeral procession and burial in the local cemetery. #brotherhood
