Next up in our get to know the Greyhound Softball Team is Mackenzie Keller.

No softball today so instead the girls challenged the 14U baseball team next door to a game of beach whiffle ball!

Emma Thiessen is HER. Goalie got a red card and GV had to play 10 on 11 against a top 5 team in the state in Lee's Summit. Emma, who is normally a forward, stepped in at goalie and made 7 saves and got a stop in a shootout in a 3-2 win. Taylor Nicholson scores the winning PK.

What a season! These ladies fought hard to the very end. They overcome a lot of adversity and many stepped into different positions for the team! We finished the regular season tied for 2nd in Region 16. We then went on to finish Runner Up in the Region 16 Tournament.
