Feet on the street this Saturday for the Cost of living coalition protest!✊ With a €16 BILLION projected surplus next year, there is no excuse for one in three families to be facing energy poverty this winter.

Cost of living coalition protest this Saturday. We know far to many people with intellectual disabilities and their families are living in poverty. We have called for significant increases in disability allowance as well as a cost of disability payment in Budget 2024. We support

“Disabled people, many of whom live in poverty, feel #Budget2024 didn’t address their core needs” reports Ailbhe Conneely. Great to see IWA highlighting the need for long-term solutions to tackle disability poverty on RTÉ News.

Precious little re autonomy, dignity and choice in #budget24 for the 1200+ younger disabled people in nursing homes, the 2200+ in congregated settings and many thousands of disabled adults infantilised in family homes by the state with no housing or support options.

In my graphic, I depict some of the vacant sites and the 4,666 entire Airbnb houses/apartments in Dublin City. According to Ireland's November 2023 homeless report, there are a record 13,514 people, including 4,105 children, who are accessing emergency accommodation. The 2022

My local CDNT team has over 270 families waiting on lists for years. There are staffing problems. But in lots of cases. The team are helping emergency situations of heart broken, worn-out parents who can't cope anymore. Their only option is A&E. So the list hardly moves. FACT.

Another woman murdered by a man. Gender-Based Violence is spiralling out of control yet domestic violence services (€7.9m) received less state funding than greyhound racing(€19.8m) in Budget 2025. FF/FG and their backers have failed and are failing women. Enough!
