Pokémon are the backbone of our economy, culture, and lives. Delaying young trainers chances to connect with these Pokémon? Pathetic coddling. If you weren’t prepared to raise Pokémon by ten, perhaps this was never the profession for you.

Follow whatever path you like. What I know is that I’ve known my goal since I was a child. I dedicated the years prior to my tenth gaining all the knowledge I could so I could set off into the world. And I’ll be damned if anyone as determined was denied their chance.

And they shouldn’t have to be forced to drudge through subjects not suitable to them. Why delay the inevitable. Those who will thrive, will. Holding them back is to disrespect all they hold dear.

Delaying the age to become an official trainer is delaying your chance to grow alongside your Pokémon. There’s a reason Pokemon kept as house pets rarely grow. To think that being stuck in a single place is not detrimental to growth is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

I argue for the freedom for trainers to choose their own future. It should be the trainers choice. Most of you have come to me offended because you know not of the conviction I’ve lived my entire life with. My life would be worse if I didn’t start the day I did.
