Safety tips for (hypothetical) campus encampments 🧵

ATLANTA—In a letter to the Emory Community, EU Vice President for Public Safety Cheryl Elliot wrote that of the 28 individuals arrested during today's encampment, 20 are 'Emory community members.' This directly contradicts police's outside agitator narrative from earlier today.

EMORY UNIVERSITY—There have been at least 18 confirmed arrests so far from today's Gaza solidarity/Stop Cop City encampment.

A local government in Virginia is auctioning off hundreds of thousands of masks.

We have about a week to raise the funds to buy these masks, so we can distribute them in communities across the country, for free!
