Over the last decade, the United Nations has verified cases affecting more than 51,000 victims and survivors of #CRSV.  In 2023 alone, we verified more than 3,600 reported cases of conflict-related sexual violence - a staggering 50% surge from the previous year.

When SRSG Patten visited the #IDP Bulengo camp in Goma, she was struck by the sheer brutality of the sexual violence endured by women and girls. The pain in their eyes tells stories no one should ever have to live through. We cannot look away.
