Building a prosthetic finger device from scratch was no easy task for our Mike P. team this school year. After long hard work and many prototypes, they developed a device that allowed Mike to type and play piano again after losing those abilities from a skate boarding accident.

Our Mike B. team developed an exoskeleton glove that gives Mike who has a case of muscular dystrophy the ability to fully contract his individual fingers from wrist movements. After 2 school years of working on the glove, the 1st functioning prototype was sent to him this spring!

Our Education team did a great job planning our 1st annual Handathon in the spring! All students were welcome to come help build pre-printed 3D prosthetic hands — including our own Thanos hand. They also bought supplies for our club to put together care packages for our users.
