Found out a few days ago that I got a 5’x8’ plot at the Hershey Community Garden! This is now me waiting for my tomato, Swiss chard, and pepper seedlings to germinate

Garden update: Swiss chard and tomato seedlings have germinated! Spent the afternoon weeding most of our small plot after our wonderful camping trip last night 🏕

Tonight’s lettuce mix was grown in my community garden plot over the last three weeks. Very exciting and tasty first harvest! 👩🏻‍🌾

40% of my sense of accomplishment during MS4 year so far comes from the fact that I can supply my rest of my team with an abundance of Swiss chard. One harvest at a time 👩🏻‍🌾

This week, Drew and I: • Camped on the beautiful Assateague beaches • Visited Pittsburgh for the first time • Saw the view from my new apartment window • Got engaged!!!

The plants and I are settling into our new home. We’re excited to have one of Pittsburgh’s many bridges in our view! 🌉
