One of the sessions of today’s #CitizensCommons workshop on the Un/Just Transition was framed around a People’s Parliament where community members engaged government on their concerns & demands regarding a just energy transition - that was owned, involved & co-determined by them!

On day two of the African Social Justice Festival we dealt with the political economy and feminist critiques of land; began charting our goals for African solidarity and were joined by Professor Issa Shivji who guided us towards the vision of people-centred Pan Africanism.

1) After a week together, comrades from across Africa celebrated our time together and commitment to breathe life into people-centred Pan Africanism.

4) We would like to thank all who joined us to co-create the space together, and in particular Wajamaa Tanzania for hosting us this week and Mathare Social Justice Centre (MSJC) and YOUTH 4 PARLIAMENT for planning and holding the space with us. Africa umoja, Africa uhuru!
