October 13, 2013. Ten years ago. Another insane comeback in an era that seemed to be defined by insane Red Sox comebacks. Once again, David Ortiz threw us all on his shoulders and somehow made the unbelievable seem oddly believable. Clutch defined.

My favorite part of the end of October is following all the former Red Sox on social media and watching them post their memories from all the World Series titles they’ve won. Sorry if you can’t relate to this spiritual experience.
