More evidence supporting the importance of dosing/concentration for PRP injections. Similar to what we saw in our previous meta analysis William Berrigan, MD, RMSK pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39397728/#:~:t…

6 months of pain/paresthesias lateral leg. Tinels + fibular neck. MRI ordered by PCP neg, sent to me for further eval. US shows clear neuroma/nerve sheath tumor of SPN just distal to the bifurcation. MRI unfortunately didn’t cover the affected area…

Can’t find a better group of ultrasound teachers than this šŸ‘ Enjoyed directing the skills lab on ultrasound evaluation of acute and chronic wrist injuries with this all star group at the annual AAPM&R News meeting! #AAPMR24 vumcpmr

The days of traditional grade 1-3 muscle/ tendon injuries are done. The more we know about the make up of the tissue involved, we can help more accurately decide when is the right timeframe to load these tissues and progress athletes back to play šŸ’Ŗ

ā€œCarpal tunnelā€ referral. A quick ultrasound scan is so valuable at looking for any abnormal anatomy, or in this case, nerve sheath tumors 😮

Unique case of a VMO myotendon tear after skiing accident. Fortunately the quad tendon itself was intact so patient is improving with rehab and time, no need for operative intervention #mskus

College track athlete with persistent hamstring pain despite rehab, soft tissue modalities. MRI read as normal. US shows very small calcification at distal conjoint tendon corresponding with patients symptoms!

2 in 1 hamstring strain! Don’t be fooled by the lack of a large hematoma, this is a serious injury. 1) Intra-muscular tendon tear of the conjoint tendon, and 2) a myofascial tear of the semitendinosus more distally 😮

🚨 Interesting case 🚨 High level MMA athlete with hx of abdominal wall pain, known diastasis recti, now noticing small bump in midline. US shows a small fat-containing ventral hernia! Does not worsen with valsalva, no abdominal contents herniating through

Interesting anatomic variant case! Rock climber with 9 months pain in oblique, atraumatic. Not getting better with PT. Hurts most twisting to opposite side. Looks like branch of IIN is in the wrong fascial plane, then makes its way through IO to the right place
