What a fun afternoon we had recreating the digestive system! We put all our food in the “stomach,” added “stomach acid,” mixed it up and squeezed it out of the “intestines” to see what came out the other side! Woodhill Science Woodhill Primary School
Thank you Greenwich Islamic Mosque for hosting us today. What a privilege to be the first school to come and visit. It was such a great experience for our children to learn about Islamic customs from the imams.
Some of our children were able to read parts of the Quran to their friends during our trip today, what an impressive skill to be able to memorise all the words! 📖 Woodhill Primary School
Today we explored the scientific enquiry of: what is the effect of different drinks on teeth? To test this, we put hard boiled eggs (teeth) into various liquids. We will check back in a couple of days to see which drink damaged the shell (enamel). Woodhill Science Woodhill Primary School
First attempt connecting the Ohbot Robot Cherry had so much fun exploring the different functions using scratch, they found the expressions immediately. Their first lesson was learning how to define a variable so that they could make their robot blink. Woodhill Primary School
