Just received an update on jury deliberations in Chase Hardin trial: Jury has reached a verdict on one count, says they’re having trouble reaching a verdict on the other three. The judge told the jury we will stay as long as needed for them to come to a decision.

WVU has announced that no fans will be permitted at Mountaineer Field for the football team’s home opener against Eastern Kentucky on September 12.

Back in court today for Chase Hardin sentencing. He was found guilty back in August of two counts of second-degree sexual assault, each charge carries sentence of 10-25 years on each count.

Hardin getting emotional while addressing court. Said in part, “my God will judge me one day, like he will judge us all. I know I did not do this. I just ask you show mercy on me and my soul during sentencing.”

BREAKING | Chase Hardin will spend 20-50 years in prison after being convicted of two-counts of second-degree sexual assault. Will have 30 years of supervised release once sentence is complete.
